2018 Malaysia Auto Show - Perodua to bring new Bezza 1.0L GXtra variant

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Auto Show just around the corner and Perodua is busy teasing a new variant of its Bezza sedan on Facebook. The automaker didn't share any image of the new trim, rather posted a car vector image along with the text Bezza GXtra. Thus leaving us clueless on the exterior and interior modifications, which we suppose will tally with the existing Bezza design language.

Post the July 2016 launch, this is the second time Bezza lineup is scheduled for a major update. The first involved minor cosmetic changes with the 1.0L Standard G trim receiving a rear skirt covering the car’s underside nicely. The 1.3L Bezza Premium X and Advance trims were also part of the initial mid-cycle update.

Along with a few outer body revisions, the Bezza Premium X and Advance received a few cabin changes. For example, the Bezza Advance trim got a new leather upholstery. As for the Standard G variant update remained limited to the exterior.

Talking about the soon to be revealed Bezza GXtra variant, we are looking forward to see advance amenities and higher specifications compared to the 1.0L Standard G trim. Another assumption is that with the new Bezza GXtra, Perodua will give its contemporary sedan a sporty and powerful stance.

The ongoing Perodua Bezza Standard G trim is priced at RM 36,034 and is packed with the following features -

• 14-inch alloy wheels
• 1-DIN audio system with USB port
• 60:40 split folding rear seat
• Manual ORVM
• Power window
• Reverse parking sensors
• ABS with EBD
• Brake Assist
