The Honda e:N1 is an electric SUV that made its Malaysian debut at the 2024 KLIMS event. It underpins the automaker’s newly developed e:NArchitecture F platform and is said to be the all-electric version of the Honda HR-V.

As for the e:N1’s specifications, we can refer to the Thai market, where the EV recently went on sale.

The Thai-spec model is powered by a robust electric motor, tuned to deliver an impressive power of 204 PS and a peak torque of 310 Nm. The motor is fed by a 68.8 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery pack, which promises a driving range of up to 412 km (on the WLTP cycle) on a single charge.

The Honda EV runs from zero to 100 kmph in 7.7 seconds and hits a top speed of 160 kmph. Three available drive modes are - Normal, Eco and Sport.

Speaking of the Honda e:N1 charging, the EV supports both AC and DC power and takes the following time to juice up -

    78 kW DC fast charging

45 minutes for 10 to 80% SoC (State of Charge)

    11 kW AC charging

6 hours for 0 to 100% SoC (State of Charge)

    • A grille-less front fascia incorporating a charging port
    • White “H” badges symbolising Honda’s commitment to electric mobility
    • 18-inch aerodynamic-optimised wheels

In terms of creature comforts, the upcoming Honda EV is expected to come with the following bits -

    • 15.1-inch portrait-style infotainment unit
    • 10.25-inch digital instrument display
    • Wireless smartphone charging
